This is an SD card, not a Micro SD or a Mini SD. The lock is so you can't transfer data. Like if you leave your card in your pc and don't want anyone to delete your photos you lock it.
This is pittymom's husband: This card is 100% legit. It's storage capacity is 31.2 GB. Right now I have 19.8 GB of pictures, HD videos, word documents and power point presentations. clas 6 refers to read and write speed. Well it's upload speed from my pc to the card is about 1.13 to 1.9 mb per second. So the class 6 speed isn't quite accurate. But with a class 6 you can take HD videos with your cam corder or HD camera. We used it a Kodak Z981 digital camera. As for the brand, it's a generic card. If you'd like to see a picture of the ino I just wrote down send me your email address and I'll send you photos.
@MichiganGramma43 The classes determine a minimum speed rating for read/write (supposed to... some brands are better than others.) It is supposed to be at least 6MB read/write which is stated by a governing body however, with a brand such as... well I do not know what the brand is you can not be certain.
Question @ seller: Have you tried to put 32GB on this card? Is it legit? I have had cards that show as 32GB from the computer screen but when you try to physically put data on it, the real size it can handle is like 256 mb or a GB or so. Some can be very tricky with looping data.
