Description

The listing, German Boy Doll has ended.

I think this doll is made of porcelain. Head, body , arms and legs. Head , arms , and legs move. It looks like a little German boy. The clothes on it are the same as when we bought it at an estate sale a long time ago. The markings on the back of the neck look like 3 stars with an arrow in a circle below them. This doll is about 10 inches high and about 3 3/4 inches wide at the shoulders. I don't think its an antique but vintage. I need $8.00 shipping and handling which can be paid through paypal. Good luck bidding. ( PS , I just found the same doll on another bid site. This is what it said , About the Annual Hummel Dolls Since the early 1950, dolls have played a very important part in the M.I. Hummel collection of unprecedented talents and beauty. The Hummel Dolls were produced originally in rubber, however, Goebel took their production one step further into the vinyl age in 1964. T has been several of these dolls produced over the coming years until the latter part of this century Goebel, in alliance with the Danbury Mint, introduced the porcelain style doll. Each of the dolls manufactured since the 1950's stand about 10" tall and are easily recognized as belonging to the precious collection of the M.I. Hummel world.
Important Revision(s) -- See Q&A Section: (bidders bidding before the timestamp of the Q&A are free to retract their bids as I have received a private offer upwards of $200) The back of the neck, has 3 5-pointed stars , below that a circle with an arrow pointing up The manufacturer is most likely Oumlet (which may be affiliated with Goebel upon a preliminary google search) The Doll may be porcelain
