The listing, Vintage Hong Horizons Girl Planter/Kitchen Holder has ended.

Vintage 1956 Hong Horizons (Patent Pending on bottom) girl plant holder or kitchen spoon holder, don't know which it is, but this is very unusual and really a cute item. She is in good condition. I don't see any kind of break.

She is not made of pottery or wood. I don't know the material, but it is hard. It could be plaster of paris. She is marked on bottom, 1956, Patent pending. I cannot find anything on the internet about her, other than Hong Horizons made a lot of quality collectible items. She measures 8" high. Very nice collectible piece.

I wish I could see a photo of the opening/holding compartment. This may be a dish scrubby holder or a ring holder.

It is definitely not a ring holder, too big. Also I believe it is too deep for a scrubby holder, but I guess it would work. I won't be home til later and could send you a picture before it ends if you like. I never could find any information on web about it. It has a patent pending on label on bottom, so who knows. If you want me to send pic later let me know.

I wanted to update you all as to size of this opening. It measures 4" tall with a 2" hole. I thought spoons or flowers could be put in there.
