There were many many protests against them so ticket sales were way down..couldnt prove it by me.. women were taking off their bras and throwing them all over..it was an experience for sure...can you tell me a bit about this book please f&w
Here's about all I know about the book, I bought it at an estate sale five or six years ago, it is written by Hunter Davies, the copyright is 1968 and the publisher is McGraw-Hill. The pages are rough cut and uneven sized, the cover is okay there is some wear or the corners of the cloth cover a few scratchers also the binder is starting to separate from the cover. I bought with the idea of reading it but just don't seem to find the time, oh one last thing inside the front cover there is a last name written in ink. I looked briefly through the pages and didn't find any torn or missing pages. besides the copies or scribbled song notes there is no hand writing either. that's about the gist of it.
Thanks, I have many book about the beatles and John 《 my favorits》..I dont like to part with them..lol. the book you have sounds interesting..you've described it very well
Thank you, I am new to doing this and comments like yours help. John was my favorite also. Wish he was still alive I would love to see what his music, art, or his views on the world would been in his older years.
To Ozzylover1, i think i "hate" you, i would have DIED to see them!! SO envious!!! Never got to see the Monkees, either... Met Sonny and Cher, tho, back in the day!
Ok... Due to another greedy puke who probably wasn't even in diapers, when the Beatles broke up, i will be going to Powell's City of Books, here in Portland, and hunting for this book. Thanks for the opportunity.
