This Stuff is Free Too:
Description

The listing, Another Huge Lot (615) MCR Coke Rewards Caps/Points has ended.

For auction: Another Huge Lot of 615 MCR .... that's right six hundred and fifteen Coke Rewards points caps. They were collected by my parents. I know they drink way too many Coke products. LOL. I have 1 more box besides this one with the same amount (615) caps per box. I can't afford to do free shipping on these 2 boxes. but if you are interested in both boxes I will need assistance with the shipping. Each box weighs 3lbs and regular post shipping was $17.00 so I opted for the medium flat rate box - which is $12.35.

Let me know if you are interested in the other box and I will set up a new auction with the 2nd box with agreed upon GIN amount and you would get 1230 MCR Rewards caps.

All Listia rules apply. Will only ship to Listia verified addresses. Please verify your address prior to bidding. If you bid/win and you do not have a verified address within the Listia approved 7 days I will re-list the item and you forfeit your bid amount.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

It seems that some of the mods have no idea what they are doing. Since there are now bids you cannot change it.

Just want to follow up on the changing of categories by Listia moderators........

After my initial posting here, I submitted a support ticket to Listia telling them that by changing the categories they effectively take away bidders and the ability of sellers to enter a shipping cost for physical caps.

I am familiar with the moderator who responded. He is very good at what he does and explained it like this; "with the MCR codes and all the kids bidding on them they must be listed in the Other Stuff> Rewards Points only.. Its been that way for a very long time. This helps prevent fraudulent accounts being created, we want these users to have to earn their wings or get verified ( become active members) not just use their free credits for Codes and then create another account and repeat the process. Follow? Because of all the fraud I have been pushing for Listia to make it so ALL digitally delivered items must require verification in order to bid. In hopes of discouraging the kids and fraudulent users from the site. Sorry for the inconvenience."

I've seen the fraudulent accounts from time to time so I understand the concern.

I asked that he submit my suggestion for the ability to enter shipping costs for physical rewards points.

I'd like for as many people as possible to submit the same request, sellers and bidders.

Otherwise the workaround is having to update the listing with shipping cost info like you did.

Good luck.

if you didn't know, you can by and print a medium flat rate box label from usps online for $11.30 then just hand the box to your mail man

Hmmm.. Yes I do know that it can be printed on-line. The price i'm charging for the shipping is $12.35. I think the $1.05 is ok to cover the ink to print, packing tape that is used to secure the box and oh yeah, the fee I have to pay to accept payment via paypal.

Sorry don't mean to come across as an A$% but I don't understand why so many people have a problem with shipping costs on certain items. If you don't want to pay for shipping ---- simple answer is ---- DON"T bid on auctions with shipping costs.

Ok - done ranting.

Maybe we should let him decide how to run his own auctions. I'm sure that if he wanted input on how to run it, he sure would ask those specific questions on how to run an auction.

When are Listia moderators going to learn to keep their paws off of these listings?

They post the same 2 lies whenever they do this;

(1) "To help you get more bids and possibly more credits for your item, I've changed the category of this listing from COUPONS TO REWARDS.:

WRONG. Changing it to REWARDS shuts out people with less than 5 feedback rating who may have the points to bid on any auction set up like this. These people can bid in the OTHER category.

(2) "This will help bidders find your item, and will prevent it from getting flagged by users."

WRONG: In fact, you lost bidders who were searching for non-digital (physical) delivery of the cap codes. Listia members looking for My Coke Rewards know the key words to enter to find them. It's not rocket science.

And, to add to the insults;

"Thanks for your cooperation and good luck!"

You didn't cooperate,. You didn't have a choice. This change was FORCED onto you and it doesn't benefit anyone at all.

Me? I would end the listing, send an email to all the current bidders that the auction was re-listed due to tampering by Listia moderators.

Next time, put a notice in it for Listia moderators to go play somewhere else.

BTW, Great auction. Good luck.

You can avoid having Mods mess with your listing by putting it under Other instead of Coupons or Rewards. That way you are allowed to charge shipping! Good Luck....

This is just a thought but what about pictures? If you lay a bunch out at a time and take a pic, you could email that.

Thanks for trying to come up with a solution. I tried that and the pics do not have enough "detail" in order to read the codes accurately.

You sound like me the only good thing about how many cases of pop my married kids drink is they cut and mail me the codes from be it 12, 20 and 24 packs of cans I have over 5000 points in my account but have never found anything I want to get free so I put a single ode in monthly to keep the account from closing but I don't want them points or the 500 plus codes they have mailed to me think I should do like you and list them here but I wouldn't have to deal with shipping since cases are much easier to send the codes than caps! I wish you the Best of luck with your auction!!!!

Ooops. My bad. I missed that it was originally in COUPONS. Probably a better move was to offer in OTHER category to use physical shipping. They would still change it on you.

Yeah... my mistake for using the Coupons category.... I'll have to try the OTHER category next time.

Why would you not break this down to do as the digital? Only 100 pts. per week is all mycokerewards allows, so 615 would be 6 wks. worth of codes. 615 caps/codes are two different things. 615 caps is actually 1800 pts. 615 pts. is just over 200 caps. I hope you understand what I'm saying simply because some of the auctions I've won for these the codes were already used. If I had this many to sell I'd do groups of 33 caps for the100 pts. Maybe several auctions at once to use them quicker. This many credits is a big no huge investment plus a shipping charge of almost $13 which personally I don't bid on auctions to pay shipping as I offer free shipping on all my auctions. I wish you luck with this.

Thank you for your input. But I personally do not have the time to copy the codes down and send out via digital delivery. They title was listed that way to help many people find the auction by having both "Rewards and Points" in the title. You can clearly see that it is 615 caps in the picture. You have the right to not bid on auctions that charge shipping but that doesn't mean someone else will not. Especially since there are so many "points" involved. thanks again for stopping by.

All of the soda's were consumed by my parents. They don't use the codes and neither do I. There are no used codes.

Great! If you are the winner on this auction we can work something out for the second box. I will still only charge the $12.35 for shipping even if you get both boxes.
