For your consideration, I have a well-loved brown leather purse made in Italy. My parents brought it back for me from Rome many moons ago. It measures about 8 inches high, 8 ½ inches wide and the bottom is about 4 inches wide. The inside is lined but the metal clasp has worn through the material. Also, the strap is about 23 ½ inches from the top of the bag to the shoulder and is cracked at the top (see photo). Great little purse, loved it for many years, then got older, got married and now my purses need to be bigger (sigh). Can unclip the straps to use as a clutch.
