This auction is for a silvertone Dreamcatcher necklace with a 19" chain. The dreamcatcher has two dangling charms, a feather and a turquoise-colored stone. According to Native American tradition, dreamcatchers were often hung above the cradles of sleeping children. Good dreams would pass through, while bad dreams were caught and would disappear with the first rays of the sun.

Note: this is NOT sterling silver but merely silvertone, and the "stone" is NOT real turquoise. This is a fun piece of inexpensive jewelry that you can wear and not be too nervous about something happening to it!
