The listing, Painted Lady Pin (Russia) has ended.

Up for bidding is a beautiful painting of a Russian Lady. It looks like enamel paint and it feels like wood. It is signed on the back I do not know who it is. It measures 2 1/2" in length. If you have any questions I will answer as soon as possible. Thanks for looking and/or bidding.

This one is very nice. is this type of jewelry popular in Russia? You can see the light strokes of paint . I looked with a loupe cause a friend said it was a transfer and it is not a transfer I can see the detail of the work from the paint brush.

Not really, i know they love amber or mother pearls, and matryoshka's, and of course they use loupe to put out the details, there is always a story in that broach.
