Okay, thanks! The jasper (whatever its real name is) is blue and it looks like sediment (sand colored) has separated the blue in spaces all over the bead. Thanks for your reply!

Yes, kinda reminds you of Sodalite, except the Blue Impression Ocean Jasper is a turquoise-like blue. Thanks for letting me know!

Sounds to me like picasso Jasper I collect different Jasper .and this would be the only one I can think of that you discribed. I hope this helped.
