Hey Curtis!! How are you? Long time no see!! Very kool auction!!I love making jewelry with wire! To answer the above question, you can use a grinding wheel , yes, be sure it is for copper(or general metals.) some require oil some don't . You can also use a grinding stone(like to sharpen a knife , but again it's a good idea as there are many kinds - to ask at the hardware store, which is best and which need oil. Copper is fairly soft , so I use even a good strong nail file(or emery board , usually the dark coarser ones hold up better. ) You can also use a metal file (cheap at the hardware store) with a coarse grit first then higher number to finish it.But I also loop the end into the thing I'm wrapping sometimes at the top or bottom. To work with this stuff use needle nose pliers with a cutting blade inside (at the hardware store-usually under $10) this stuff is easy to twist but it can get scratched by the pliers so wrap a piece of cloth around it before using pliers. It takes alittle practice but you can make loops easily! Also if you are doing a lot of jewelry , it's a good idea to make or buy a little "jig" , saves your hands from doing all of the work! Here's is a fantastic link to a site called Jiggety Jig Jig (lol!!)

I have been doing great. I finally got back in my shop. Making Intarsia again. Thank you again so much for helping me out. I really don't know about making jewelry, I just know jewelry makers love this wire. :) Thank you my friend.

I have a question about the copper wire. How do you finish off the ends. I have some here and the ends are sharp so I'm not sure what to do..

I am an electrical man. :) I really am not sure myself. A wheel grinder might work. Thank you so much for your question.

This wire is #8 stranded, I have sold some of this to other jewelry makers and they love it. I was told after taking the wires apart each one is 22 ga.
