The listing, Prickly Pear Cactus Cutting has ended.

Up For Auction Is for (1) Prickly Pear Cactus Cutting.
I found this poor thing being smothered by Wild Grapes.
Eventually this mama will die but until her time come I plan on getting as many cuttings out there so this beauty shall Live on.
As you can see she still has several healthy pieces.
and new pieces popping up all around her. So if anyone has any ideas on how to save Big Mama let me know. But
I will still be listing some pieces. So pieces will be from different parts & will be different sizes. The higher the winning bid is the bigger piece I will cut for the winner.

Hi, I think i finally found you!!! Now, this is one that i will have to bring in during the winter months right? I want to make sure so if i plant it in a container, i can put it out during the good weather. This looks like it will be a great plant. I do have a couple different types of prickly pear but one just sits there. I hope you are saving some of the pads for yourself. It would be a shame to lose it completely. I have opened the bid and will be keeping my eye on things. Bonnie

Can the mother plant be adopted as the last?

I would have no problem with that, but for 1 I am disabled it would be impossible for me to dig it up & 2 shipping would be outrageous.

Hi again, I live in a very wet climate. Do you think it would be ok outside in the winter after it is established? It can get very cold here too. Just checking so if i do win i don't lose it. Thanks.
