I don't get internet at my house but I'm approximating each point is one inch long and 1/2 an inch wide. I will post exact dimensions tonight or in the morning. Sorry for the inconvenience.
No but I live in kerr county and acquired them here. I have the utmost confidence in their authenticity as they have no signs of being rechipped and I will stand behind that to the effect that if the new owner is not satisfied I will return credits upon return of the point. I am proud of my Listia rating and i guarantee all of my auctions.
it looks like a small Uvalde, which sells for around $25. I looked through a lot of Texas arrowheads and that was the closest one I saw. They showed some from Kerr county, but they did not look like this one. I am only looking at pictures on Archaic Arrowheads of Texas. Trying to compare shapes. I never knew there were so many types of arrowheads. It is pretty anyway and I believe real as the seller has explained. Some of the larger ones like 2 and 3/4 long Andice are selling for $2875. Pedernales that small are around $25 to $50 on the sight.
No wonder my sister in law went to museum archaeologists and her daughter in law, a Paleontologist to determine an arrowhead was a reproduction. There are so many different arrowheads out there and even more reproductions. I do not normally buy them or collect them, but my sister in law's Birthday is this month and thought I'd try for it. Then she can send a picture to her daughter in law and probably some Texas archaeologists to try and figure out what it is. Other than that, it does look like a cute one from Texas.
I would say Sallisaw. If the edges have fine serrated edges i would be certain. Its hard to see the pic details on the edges and the flaking is also hard to see. However i am not qualified to paper something. Just my opinion. The worn ears are throwing me off. But anyways a sallisaw -Mississippian time period 800-600 B.P. This is Texas Material in my opinion. Midwestern States. Hope this helps.
