This auction is for one (NEW) Mariposa Gems Genuine Gemstone Wickless Wax Melt.

These are very highly scented wickless wax melts to be used in a tart warmer such as Glade, Yankee Candle, Scentsy etc and contain a genuine gemstone that can be set into a piece of jewelry to become a necklace, ring or any other type of jewelry that you may desire.

Your genuine gemstone will reveal itself once it has melted down a bit in your tart warmer, just take a pair of tweezers to remove the foil packet from the warm wax pool and have a paper towel handy to wipe off the excess wax.

Each foil packet also comes with a description of what type of gemstone you get and that includes size (mm) and weight (ct) and the above last 3 pictures is an example of what I got out of my Winter Garden Wickless Wax Melt and is also quite similar to what you will receive in your new wax melt.

You may want to visit websites like jtv.com to find a ring or pendant setting for your gemstone using the measurements provided on the slip of paper to create the perfect jewelry piece to add to your collection.

Hi angiec, they really are. The Cream Soda almost tickles your nose just like the fizz of a real Cream Soda soft drink, I love Mariposa wax :)

I know you cant give an exact value with different types and sizes, but a range of value maybe?

Hi passingonsavings, unfortunately, the slips of paper that are included with these gemstones do not include the actual ranges of value for them only the name of the gemstone that you receive along with it's size and weight for mounting into a lovely piece of jewelry. Most jewelry candle or jewelry tart vendors do include the value in with their hidden jewelry along with the marking metal and gemstone and some do not. My recommendation would be to take it in to reputable jeweler to assess the actual value of your gemstone like I will be doing with the beautiful Garnet that I just received in my gemstone tart. Most jewelers will be more than happy to do a spot check to assess authenticity and unofficial appraisal. I wish that I could be more help as I do realize that in the world of jewelry candles and tarts, gemstone values are just as important as knowing whether or not you received a .925 sterling silver band. If I can answer anymore questions for you, please do not hesitate to ask, I buy ALOT of jewelry candles and jewelry tarts and I wholeheartedly support Mariposa as this vendor offers some of the nicest 100% soy wax that I've ever experienced and the scent throw is out of this world tremendous, the Mariposa Genuine Gemstone wax melts are her newest addition but I've tried everything that she offers and her scents are really good :)

There was another vendor that I used to buy gemstone tarts from all the time but unfortunately, she closed her business. Mariposa has always been a favorite of mine and I LOVE really strong wax throw and she never disappoints. I hope that you are able to win this tart and try the for yourself, I have quite a few gemstones that I've pulled from tarts and this is actually the very first one that I am going to have looked at. She doesn't over inflate the values of her jewelry tarts so I'm expecting it to be a reasonable appraisal/estimate and I'm really looking at getting the ring setting from jtv since the shape of my garnet is lovely and triangular which is also unusual. Good luck bidding, these really are really fragrant tarts :)

Thanks so much for stopping by my auction golfcartgirl :) let's just say that I've been burning jewelry candles/tarts since a lot of these vendors started and I LOVE discovering new and different jewelry candle companies to explore and share with others. Mariposa is one of my absolute favorites. Some scents are stronger than others but the wax is yummy either way. I really hope you have a chance to try these, my favorite is Winter Garden and Forever Red which is a play off of Red Lipstick and both are out of this world.
