Avon ,and it's distribution method of Home Parties & Catalog Sales, gave the "working class" Woman, the opportunity to own beautiful, well designed, Jewelry items that mimicked many of the very expensive items that were beyond their reach economically.

This beautiful Cameo, I have at Auction today is a perfect example of that jewelry item.
This lovely floral Cameo has such a Romantic & utterly Sweet feel to it. It can be used in so many ways to enhance your wardrobe with a Feminine, Victorian Vibe ~~

It was offered by Avon Products, NY. in 1982, as the Silhouette Cameo.
It is Acrylic , yet so perfectly colored & carved, that you really can almost believe it is made of Shell.
Measurements are 1.75" x 1.25", There is a roll over, locking clasp that is marked Avon.

This Cameo would be a wonderful gift for that Special young Lady in your life that is just starting to wear Jewelry & won't give you a Heart Attack if she loses it!! Lol!
