The listing, Antique Elgin Auto 400 Lighter "with Engraving" has ended.

A little more description on this is on one side of the Lighter it has OLD GOLD ADVERTISING of lady cigarette packs engraved on it, which is rare.

I actually have one more of these lighters, a twin brother, except it does not have the paper insert shown in the picture. It is exactly the same other than that and it IS Up for auction an antique Elgin Automatic 400 Lighter. Gold plated, never used, comes with authentic box, pouch, brush, inset and lighter.
SO IF YOU MISSED THE FIRST ONE YOU GET ANOTHER CHANCE :):):)

This lighter was acquired from an estate sale. Upon examination it looks as if it has never been used, not even the wick inside has been burned. I pulled the lighter open and checked the cotton absorption, none has been in it and there is no flint in it, or signs of ever having flint. There are no signs of ever being struck a flame not once. As for the mechanics of it , yes it works but in order to see if it lights you would need to fill and load flint at your own decision. Hope that answers your question and helps, have a great day :)
