Up for auction is this very pretty 18K gold filled ring size 5. The brilliant round cut garnet is the center of a lovely heart. Many round cut peridots, amethysts, pink topaz and morganites surround the center stone. Garnet is the birthstone of January, amethyst is that of February, peridot is that of August, topaz is that of November and morganite is that of October.

These stones are laboratory created, but their properties, chemical, optical and physical, are identical to that of naturally occurring stones. Man made gems are much hardier than their naturally occurring cousins, not so subject to temperature change, drying out, cracking or grazing.
