Never made it. My son turned the hot water knob to hard in our bathroom sink and it broke off. We had hot water and steam all over our place. Called the super, he didn't call right back so I called the Fire Department ( all this at 8:40 am ) it took over 45 mins. to get the damn thing shut down. Now I have the cleanest bathroom anyone has ever seen on the bright side.LOL Laughing now, but not then. Thank Heavens we hadn't been painted yet as we were awaiting a date the painters would be doing our apartment. TY for asking. Now I go on May 31 at 10:45.

Oh no! I just had something similar happen except a hose popped out from behind my washing machine causing the water to drain all over the floor, the whole room was an inch deep in water before I could find my husband to fix it. Bad me panicked and never thought to turn the water off! :-) Yes, some moments are only funny afterwards!

Today it is funny, not so yesterday. After 2.5 hours doing wash I also have a cleanest clothes and towels.LOL We were soaked with hot steamy water.
