The listing, 2 antique Bells from japan 1 horse 1 bird has ended.

These are so cool. They are made in japan and stamped japan on bottom. There is a bird and a horse. They are a set. I did not want to clean them as some collectors think it would depreciate its value, so i will leave it up to the winner. They are made of brass. The bird measures 8 inches tall and the horse measures 7 inches tall. I will be posting more bells so be sure to look at my other auctions. These are a great addition to a collection. This will ship free to a listia verified address.

I am giving my best educated guess by going on the age and testimonials of events in the timeline of my late client, and the laws for how exports had to be marked for customs inspections...I am going to guess these date back close to 1920s. Again I am giving my best educated guess, but even so, I am not an expert so can not say that with any absolution. I hope that is helpful.
