Description

The listing, SWEDISH IVY has ended.

Swedish ivy is not actually Swedish, nor is it ivy. It is native to Australia, but gained popularity as a houseplant in Sweden. It takes its name because, like ivy, its stems cascade down the side of its pot. With good care, it is one of the fastest growing houseplants.

Swedish ivy house plants are ideal for beginners. Nearly foolproof, this is one of the easiest types of ivy to grow indoors. In fact, it needs little attention to thrive.

Thanks Sandy, good luck to you! One piece will make a full basket in no time at all!!! You just keep breaking a piece off of it and stinking in the soil and wahla before you know it, it is full!

Nope, won't survive outside in those zones. Think of this as a tropical, it is a houseplant for those of us in these "upper zones" ! Darn!!! I have grown it in the past and it is a phenomenal houseplant!!! And Tracy is right! Just snip and plant!!!!

But this is an indoors plant. Doubt that it would survive the winters outside in zones 7 & 8?

No, it sure won't! I live in a tropical area where most plants will grow year round. It does make a great houseplant though. You can hang it in a sunny window and it will do great!
