I have one of these cameras, the are GREAT. It charges by plugging it in with a USB cord. It holds a charge for a while. It can take HD pictures, Video, and voice recording. It also has a motion detection mode, where it will start recording whenever it is detects movement, then it will stop recording after 1 min of no movement. There as a lot of videos on YouTube that show how to use this cam.
