does this some with a charger or does it take batteries or both? if it comes with a charger, is the battery rechargable? like could i charge it for awhile, then take it to the beach or something to play? or does it have to be plugged in to work? also, if it is portable, how long does it hold a charge?

Hi, yes this has a rechargeable battery, It does come with a Charger cord. Yes I love mine and it has a Battery life of close to 7 hours. You can take it to the beach.

No this just has the micro SD card and the headphone part that you hook your mp3 or phone to, and the SD card that you can download your music to.

no you put the music on a micro SD card and then you can put it in this speaker. SD card does not come with it. Sound is real good in all these small speakers. I love mine
