The listing, Vintage 2 Decorative Brass Copper Plates Made In England has ended.
I'm so blown away by the range in prices I found online for these things, that I can't even begin to determine what they're really worth; but they're not in terrific shape either, so I'm just going to put them here and let you figure it out!
They're 10" in diameter, and they've been etched with what appears to be some sort of inventory number as well as "Pinion Pines" and "Stolen From Askem". I think.
I guarantee I didn't steal them, but I did try to look up both places on line after I found them -- and didn't have any luck.
They were used as props for theatrical productions for awhile, and now they are waiting for the right collector to come along and snag them as they are authentic.
-------------- THE USUAL POINTS TO PONDER -----------
➽ Shipping isn't cheap these days, and adding tracking to everything isn't making it better, which is why I split the cost of my bigger or heavier items with my fellow Listians. Please try to refrain from telling me how thoughtless I am, and I won't tell you how expensive it has been putting three kids through college, etc.
➽ Canada.
Oh, Canada. Why is it that I can ship a package to Taiwan or Spain and those packages arrive to their people days or weeks before you get yours?
Lately, it's been super slow going across your border. Do keep that in mind when bidding -- I promise it's not my fault.
➽ GIN is something I'm going to eventually play around with, but if it's not an option in the listing already -- please don't ask. Besides, by the time I get your message, someone has probably already started bidding, and then I couldn't change the listing even if I wanted to.
➽ Verify your address. Please. I'm hearing horror stories recently about scams & things, so it's for you and I to remain happy and serene out here on the web.
➽ Have fun!
