The Swiss Franc is the only version of the franc still used in Europe. The smaller denomination, a hundredth of a franc, is a Rappen (Rp.) in German, centime (c.) in French, centesimo (ct.) in Italian, and rap (rp.) in Romansh.
The Euro is used by 18 of 28 member states of the European union. Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain.[3][4] Also 5 additional countries use the Euro. It happens to be the second highest reserve currency and second most traded currency in the world after the USD.
Thanks for your question! Have a fantastic weekend :)
