2 yellow, 2 black,1 orange and 1 green. These are full skeins(70 yards each).They have a musty smell from being packed up for over 20 years. Will air them out as much as possible. Aunt Lydia's heavy rug yarn.100% Trevira* Polyester. Smoke free home but pet friendly. All listia rules apply and must have listia verified address

It is a heavier yarn but it would work great for slippers or something that has heavy use. Actually with it being a somewhat ticker yarn it might be easier for you to learn with this. Hope this helps.... nosey Granny :-)

I'm new to crocheting this says it's rug yarn? Can it be used for other projects or just rugs and how bad is the musty smell?

I have been letting it air out and sprayed it with febreze air effects and most of the musty smell is gone.
