i hope this is taken the way i mean it . after 25 years of being used as a punching bag, belittled to no end and the only one working . i walked out of my marriage ( should have left long before i did). i lived on the streets taking showers at the ymca, eatting at friends houses i knew their mealtimes and never told anyone i was living on the streets somehow (GOD i think made someone aware and the next time i went to the y i not only had a job, a home and food in a fridge but a lot of people wanting to know why i never told them had more love and encourgement than i had ever felt. well i now am in a 10 year marriage that couldn't be better he is my best friend and we make each other smile and laugh , love to spend time together and live each day like theres tomorrow. keep the faith if God can bless me like he has he has a plan for all of you and things will turn out for the best.

That's what surprised me so much... I've come to actually ask for a prayer request. My cousin and his wife had a beautiful baby girl 6 weeks ago and she was born without a heartbeat. The doctors didn't think she'd survive, but she has...against all odds. They said she'd never move and she can. They said she'd never cry and she screams. They said she'd never eat without a feeding tube and she's up to 20cc's by bottle every 3 hours! (30 still in the G-tube, but it's a start!) She had a PDA (valve that didn't close after birth) and miraculously it's closed on it's own! Her only problem right now is her blood pressure is a little high. (as far as we know. She HAS suffered a brain stem injury.) What I ask is to pray that she recovers as much as humanly possible as she's already surprised every doctor and nurse she's come in contact with. NO ONE thought she'd be doing as well as she is. We just want her to come home soon and healthy! Please pray for baby Autumn's health and for her Mommy and Daddy as they've been through Hell and back watching their lil girl suffer! Thank you!!!

In fact it is important to all the people that have purpose in life... compassion for others, respect for even the littlest of morals in people such as yourself.... In a way I envey you because when you gain the oppertuinty to see and know what all of us know and have learned to trust... Footprints in the Sand

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.

This bothered me because I noticed
that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from
anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.

In the meantime, I trust in the Lord that I will be healed. I pray that after a couple rounds of chemo for my pancreatic cancer that the CT scan shows incredible healing that will bring pause to the treatment for more tests. If not, I will have radiation added for 5 weeks in hopes that the mass shrinks enough away from the artery so that surgery will then be possible. My job search is secondary although I had a wonderful interview with HP this past Wednesday. I believe that they could be the perfect organization that will also have patience with my treatment. I pray for an offer to come in this week. Also pray for stability and peace with me and my family during all of this. We are hanging in there and doing what we can to be as stress and worry free as possible. Thanks Listia and everyone on it!

Well, I wish I could bid but will throw this out there...

One of the things I have been working on today and in the past few months is that I have been participating on this wonderful Listia website to try to rebuild a baseball and football card collection with my 13 year old son. I had a nice collection years ago but sold it foolishly and wish I had not. So, this is kind of my personal "cards for cancer" theme to myself as it has proven to be a nice distraction from being laid off and then finding out I had cancer - I owe many thanks to this website and the people on it as well. This effort also could end up being something either my son can cherish if he improves in school and music and gets scholarships for college someday or perhaps help fund it all or some of it if he had to sell it off. Always looking for ways of finding more cards but we're barely staying above break even so sticking with this one website for now. Starting with just a few Twins and Vikings cards, I have added lots of rookie and other key cards from my transactions on Listia - stacks growing on my desk. My son asked what it all is worth right now and I estimated, without ever looking at a price guide and only seeing some Google search results, if sold card by card it could be about 1000.00 or more so far. Just got my first price guide in ages so at least I can make a few better choices from here on out.

jeez! I guess I rambled on quite a bit there! Well, if you or someone you know is wanting to get rid of some cards found or stored, please let me know in a message. If only on Listia - will bid what and when I can.

Hey ... sis.......... i would first like to say to :""""" pamshoe3"""" a very good friend of mine found out a few months ago that she had a brain tumor the size of a lemon... she's refused treatment and began her own herbal treatment..............she got a bottle of tumor~x ( something like that) from the health food store ..and within 4 weeks time she had shrunk that tumor from a lemon to a raspberry!!!! just amazing!!!! please go get your family member a bottle of this ...it surely will not hurt to try!!! :~) good luck to you & your family , you are in my thoughts & prayers!!!

You know kinda like the "About Me" page on ebay. I think it would be a great way for us to get to really know our fellow Listians. Please let me know if you guys agree. Well weather they do or not I have been doing this for a while and will continue to do it and It has been doing better and better each time I run it The more that people spread the word it will get out and You may list your auctions here you can Tell about your friends auctions you can List what you would Like to see more Listed on Here And All Kinds of other things get to know one another....Pray for one another...You can Leave your Address and Just MAYBE someone with a Big Heart will be able to send you something you NEED and they Have it to GIVE...It IS All Out Of Love and For A Great Reason That I List these and In My Opinion It has Really Blossomed with So Many Giving, Caring, Loving, & Understanding People!!! I Have Really Met Some Great, Powerful, And GOD Loving People Here I would Not Change Anything If I Had to do it all again I would have just started this "Wish List" Allot Sooner then I Did This is the 4th One I think and They Seem to Have Drawn Allot of Great People to them...To Me It's Not about the Credits I get from these Auctions it's the Wonderful Atmosphere and Feeling It Gives Me to Read Each and Every Comment and see All the {Positive Energy}...Love Pouring Over and Over in the Replies and all the Prayers Being Prayed..And So Much More!!!!....It Is Just a Great Idea that Had to Come from GOD Himself to cause me to Run these Over and Over..Hope You Continue to Come Back...Like I said Before Welcome to Listia..Wish you Lots and LOTS Of Good Things and Many Many Great Auctions Ahead!!! Hey LeeLee, I'm a newbie here and I just came across your auction here. Reading over the comments I am touched and happy that the Listia community is so supportive and caring. I hope you and yours are doing well and I will be praying for you and all the people on here that need it. I have seen the same on several other people's auctions who have been around for a while and it is awesome! I have been in an abusive relationship before and I have been in a position where I felt so alone. I ended up getting myself out of that situation with God's help and I think I ended up stronger because of it. We are blessed to have people who really care around here.
