The wood looks like high quality Cherry wood or Mahogany, I don't know what type of wood it is exactly but the grain is pretty and it is finished so smooth. You will simply love this necklace and never take it off. A summer must have for all hippies and a great gift for a hippie you may know. Perfect worn with a tie dye t-shirt and some bell bottoms.
