This beautiful old wheat cent had been sitting in an old original bank roll for 70 years until I decided to "Free" it and offer it to any Listian who would appreciate it!

This Lincoln penny is in its original and natural "Mint" state and has never been cleaned.

Yes, the "Wheat" cent is one of my favorites, I used to search for them in rolls of pennies from the bank when I was a kid :)

When you do not see a mint mark on a Lincoln cent it is always minted in Philadelphia Pa. however it is not an "Error" coin

Good to 'see' you Ron! I know collecting at times can be an obsession as its been so for be since I was 12! At that time I shined shoes at Yankee Stadium and would arrive home the end of the day with 20 or 30 rolls of Lincoln Cents lol!

I started as a kid with a paper route, an old couple gave me a silver quarter as a tip every month. I still have them. Good to us both on this auction.
