The listing, Luthian's Gamble by R.A. Salvatore has ended.
Novel by fantasty writer R. A. Salvatore author of the Dark Elf trilogy among others. This is book 2 in a 3 book series of the Crimson Shadow. A great series whose sibling books were lost to a house fire three years ago. the paperback is in good condition.
I never have time to read anymore, but I drive for a living and audiobooks are my saving grace from boredom. If I can find them on audio I will have the series again, it was a really phenomenal series.
no doodles, I see no crinkles aside from a small bent corner on one page but it's not touching any of the text, and even the cover doesn't appear to have any rips in it. so, yes it's condition is really good. there is a stamp on the inside cover from the used book store that it came from. There is nothing I can see that would interfere with enjoyment of reading the book.
I have a listing of the Da Vinci Code in hardback on now as well as a couple of graphic novels ...I really hate calling them that...their just really thick comic books. but yea, I have a few other books I have to find where I put them so I can list them. if I can find them, I do have a Drittz Dourden (sp?) book in hardback and Elminster in Hell. keep an eye out, I'll try to find them this week to put them up
honestly trying to remember, Life crept in and kept me from having any time to read it. If memory serves me it seems like it had a green cover but I can't for the life of me recall the title of the book
At least there are audio books that you can listen to while you drive. I started getting fantasy/sci-fi books recently because I missed reading. I had always been a book worm of sorts growing up.
indeed, I'm on book 8 of the wheel of time series by Robert Jordan right now. it's a great time passer. btw, I just found the book I was talking about, it's called Servant of the Shard and I think it's more about Jarlaxle than Drittzt but it's posted now
Wheel of time is quite possibly the best fantasy series I have ever had the pleasure to read, and hope to enjoy the movie version as well. it's 13 or 14 novels long. It's about destiny and magic ... truly it would take way more time to explain all the intricacies various interlacing storylines within the series. I recommend getting the first book 'The Eye of the World', if you're not hooked enough to continue reading I'll be seriously surprised. I've had friends telling me to read it for years over and over again, I didn't get started on it till this February and I can't stop read...errr listening to it lol.
Lol that sounds great. When's the movie version coming out? I like reading books and then comparing them to the movies. What year did the series start?
I think it was sometime last year. The author died and another writer picked it up, from what I hear he's doing a fantastic job of keeping it up, but I'm not near the book he started with so I reserve judgment for myself.
