Well what you could do is for example of my screen it says the bid is 2,020. If you try to bid say 2,040 more than likelly its going to say you have been outbid. When you place a bid like 3,000 and says that your the high bidder you can bid again at 3,500 and on listia will only show the bid up to 3,000 and when someone bids they dont know that your actual high bid is 3,500 until they outbid you. I really dont like it either but, i bid like that also when i really want something. I usually wait until the last day or couple of hours to bid on somethimg. hopefully this helped you out some.
