im not sure what this is or what the writing says, again had it setting on my shelf. one day i went to the store, and then went i got home i went to go in my house and there it was, on the ground i almost steep on it, but something said stop so i did and there it was in a box also. i ask around but no one knows were it came from. its brand new, i think its pretty but just not sure what to dop with it. i had it on my indain wall. i have one space in my living room were i put my drum and the things i love, you would not belive the strange things i come across. but i think its pretty what ever it is, hay sorry about the cat he is always in my way when i try to take pictures lol sometihing about the cam he likes lol

I think it is hebrew it is usually put on the outside of the door frame and I think some kind of prayer goes in it .I am pretty sure it is Jewish I just cant remember what it is called

My neighbor has something that looks almost identical to this beside their front door and they are Jewish ....so, I think the answer given above is correct. :) I think the piece is absolutely beautiful and could be used as a decorative accent. Watching and fanned :)

anglswngs69 is correct...it is a mezuzah. I is meant to be mounted at an angle on the doorframe. Jewish tradition says that you should touch it every time you enter your home.

the prayer inside is Deuteronomy 6:4-9 and 11:13-21. Jesus referred to book of Deuteronomy more than any other book of the old testiment. This is a Jewish symbol of the Passover. have you tried to take this to a collector or a museum to see if someone can translate the writing on this, and what it is made out of? Or some one that is into wicca, could more than likely tell you more about this.

i no but i ask all over it was no ones. iv always been drawn to things. its not that big. but its very pertty. its like new. i dont got no bad luck from it. my luck is always up and down. the only thing i wish i knew is the writing for it. its strange in one way cause even was a little girl i always found things to. and i always put them in a box. now for a long time i put it on the wall. or a shelf. lol one time i had my walls covered but everyone was diffrent. one was a indain wall. christan wall i dont no what i call the other ones. but did not care cause it look neat to me like art. and no matter how much i keep giving away my friend it all keeps coming back so my dear friend it must be good luck. hugs to you always god bless and have a great week end
