I think it might work. The material is pretty snug but stretchy so if your an XL, it would fit a little looser but still work. If you're a D cup then this would also work. Sometimes people who are a bit smaller on the bottom and larger in the breast find these fit well as the extra material is used to fit the cup. Hope this helps. :-)
