It recharges by plugging it in with the cable you use to charge your phone or by connecting to laptop/iPad. I only used it 4-5 times before I upgraded to the iPhone 5.

So, this will work for an iPhone 4/4s? How big is it? And, how long does it take to get a charge? I can't believe you live where I grew up! I( many years ago! Lol) went to Churchill HS! Thanks, watching!

Hmmm....Hard to say. I never tried to charge my phone with it more than once before re-charging the juice pack. I used it only a few times (on the go) for my iPhone 3 and my 4S, when I was in a situation where I couldn't plug my phone in and I was out of battery. It charges very quickly and you can use your phone while the juice pack connected. Check out the pic I just added for size. Hope this helps. PS... Churchhill is still a very good school! I didn't grow up here, though.

Also... It charges iPod 1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G. I should mention that I no longer have the original box it came in but I will mail it in protective packaging.
