The stamp for solid gold usually reads k and not kt. And also there are numbers or letters like .925 10k which means sterling silver plated with 10k gold or 14 k gf meaning 14 karat gold filled or 14 gep meaning gold electroplated. Also not every jewelry stamped as solid gold actually is, only jeweler can actually test it which is usually definitive. So what exact does stamp read and can you get them tested at jewelers?
