Up for auction here is another very old and quite VALUABLE US stamp-- it's a 4c blue-green with Andrew Jackson from 1883. It's Scott number 211 with a catalogue value of $27.50-- so definitely a "better" stamp. It is in used condition with a somewhat bold postmark but still presentable for such an old stamp-- not perfect, but definitely collectible!

Here's the bigger scoop: My mom and stepdad both passed away a few years ago, and I've been going through some of their old stuff-- they were both dedicated "savers" of everything. In some ways, I guess they were borderline "hoarders." My stepdad accumulated stamps, and this is from his collection-- although it's more like a giant pile of messy album pages and envelopes.

I think people should have fun bidding on stuff-- that's what auctions are all about! So the starting bids for my stuff will always be is FIVE credits, and we go from there, no matter HOW valuable something might be.
