These certificates were given out only to people who were actually attending the game on 2/20/1996 when John Stockton passed Maurice Cheeks as the All Time Steals Leader in NBA History. The game was verse the Boston Celtics in which the Jazz pretty much blew them out 112-98. John got the Record Steal and the game was stopped long enough to recognize his achievement. Although I was working the game I did get my hand on a certificate numbered 14797, and snagged a ticket stub that a fan had left. Adding a hand signed Skybox card of John Stockton to add to the set. This will be something nobody you know will have, at least not in this condition and with the extra items. Not sure how many certificates are still around.
For those who haven't purchased from me in the past, I was able to obtain many autographed items, cards, magazines, shoes, and other items during the multiple years I worked in the Locker Room Maintenance Department for the Utah Jazz for a number of years and am basically liquidating my collection except for a few personal items due to space and cost of storing it.
