The listing, Pair of Marionettes from Mexico has ended.

These marionettes were brought back from Mexico about 20 years ago. They have been hanging up in my bedroom for the last 20 years and have never been used. They are in excellent condition - just a little dusty. I will be sure to clean them off before they get shipped.

The male doll has strings attached to his head, arms, and legs. The female doll has strings attached to her arms and head only. The strings are attached to a single wooden cross-shape to move the dolls around. His body is made of wood his face is either ceramic or some type of very hard plastic. Honestly, I have no idea what she's made of! Looks and feels like some combination of plaster of paris and dense foam.

The male is about 16" tall and the female is about 13". These would make an awesome addition to a doll collection or great for a child who likes to put on plays for the family! :-)

They were a gift from my aunt and uncle when they went to Mexico so I don't have any idea how much they cost. They appear to be handmade but I can't vouch for that. I don't see any markings.
