You are bidding on an Italian Lira necklace. This necklace is HEAVILY goldplated ,I have owned it for 8 years and it has held up beautifully. It has not been worn much in that time however and I store and maintain my pieces very well. A beautiful necklace with a hook and snap clasp this necklace is big,bold and somewhat weighty. This is an 18' in diam. necklace that is intended to be worn slightly longer than choker length. Pictured above on both light and dark fabric this necklace complements all shades well and is much richer in terms of gold appearance in person. Thanks for watching/bidding/looking. Thank you so much I enjoyed it but a relative gave it to me that has passed I know it's strange most people would hold onto it but I have many things of hers and when I look at it I just get extremely depressed now. I hope it will go on to bring someone else joy instead.

There is no metal stamp so I am unsure about the base metal.I know it's not gold and silver would read .925 not sure what the base metal is but it has held it's condition for many years,then again it has also remained unworn.

I am a huge fan of ancient coins and this necklace lloks cool. jewelry is sometimes made with authentic ancient pieces, and sometimes a nice reproduction. who knows. either way it's pretty, even without the coin!!
