I'd appreciate it if people did not advertise other auctions on my page. I don't want people arguing on my listing so please don't start anything. This phone was never set up to an iCloud. I used it a long time ago and kept it covered. I don't know if other ones take sim cards. Google it instead of making remarks here. No addition comments on those subjects will be posted please or they will be deleted. Thanks
I'm interested in this phone because my carrier can use AT&T products. Can you look on the right side and see if there is a tiny hole. If there is that means it can take a SIM card because if you take a paper clip and bend it and use the tip to push in the tray will open. Please try this and let me know because I'd really like this iPhone. Thanks for helping me.
As a matter of face, it does have a little hole on the right side! I don't wanna poke at it so I'll post a photo of it tomorrow if that will help you. Looks like it has some kinda enclosure for something like that. interesting. Thanks for your interest.
If it's AT&T it should take sim card(not as cards). You reset it so it's on the iCloud set up screen, not iCloud locked. If your contract ended with this phone no one should have any problem unlocking it. Hope that helps some Fanned & watching(:
..? I was not advertising anything on your auction dear. I was simply stating that they do take SIM cards and explaining to u how I knew so, in case u wanted to ask them yourself. And apparently I was right, there is a SIM card. When everyone else said it, you believed them & replied kindly. When I say it- u hid my comment and posted a not so nice toned comment. Did I do something wrong? And I was not starting a argument? What do u mean? I simply tried explaining the iCloud lock thing incase you were not aware. Definitely didn't intend on getting that reaction from u. Just tried to help. But if u never set up the iCloud, than it wouldn't matter. It's good to go.
If you don't want someone else using your SIM card you just might want to remove it. Most people that give away their iPhones for credits remove their SIM cards. Just to make sure are there any spots on the iPhone that you can't type on? I gave over 100050 credits for an iPhone and almost half of the face is useless, I can use a few by turning it sideways but in some instances you can't do that. Still waiting for $50.00 from seller and hope to get it fixed. In the meantime I need another one. Please, reassure me this one has no such issues, Please :)
Someone asked if the iCloud was locked. And u replied you reset it so yes. However I don't think resetting it unlocks the iCloud. I'm not sure of the specifics. Maybe google it or call apple. I have seen many iPhones sold on here where the previous owner reset the phone, however bc the icloud was still locked it was useless and could not be activated. There should be a way for you to go online to see if the iCloud is indeed locked. I'll find out if u want me to.
I'm not being mean, I don't know much about it. But I've seen MANY outstanding listians with hundred even thousands of sells under the belt, say things about resetting doesn't unlock the iCloud account. I think it's different things. Resetting will reset the PHONE. iCloud is a BACK UP of the phone, and if its locked with a previous owner-- it's useless n unable to be used or activated. If anyone knows what I'm trying to say please explain it-- or correct me if I'm wrong? I would like to bid on this. I'm going to try n find out about this iCloud n reset. :) bc if the iCloud is locked-- there is No way around it. You as the previous owner would be the only way to unlock it. I'll look into it and let u know. And like I said if anyone else knows if I'm wrong or correct please say so! FANNED N WATCHING!
I know you said good condition. Does it have any cracks in the glass, dings or dents, or chips? Did you use a case to protect it previously? So if you have ATT service, I could just use it like I had changes to a new phone. Anything special to do to set up? Did you do face time with it and it worked well? Thank you and appreciate all answers.
