Wheat Penny- years 1934 through 1941, plus a 1943 steel penny.
DETAILS ABOUT COIN in general
The wheat penny began in 1909 through 1958. Minted at the San Francisco, Denver , and Pennsylvania mint. 95% copper, and 5% zinc and tin. Measures 19mm diameter and weighs 3.11 grams. During the war, the 1943 coin was made of steel.
