Aww God bless you for doing that! and yes they would be great! I loved Slinky's when I was a kid. Sadly,despite my efforts to keep them untainted by pop culture and current trends my kids won't play with stuff like this. :( My pre-teens are into the ipads and cell phones and things now. So off these go to someone that will enjoy them!!
