The listing, Amazing Victorian? Newborn shirt..Must See! has ended.
I purchased this at an estate sale because I found them so intriguing, a tiny baby girl newborn top made of what appears to be muslin, perfectly folded ,ironed and starched, untouched for many decades...from sleeve to sleeve it's 12 ins across, 7 1/2 in from top to bottom...I was thinking it might be for a doll but who would take such great care to fold and iron this for a doll...I don't know the age, could be from the 1800s to the 1920s is my guess but it would be lovely framed and hung on the wall...very delicate crochet work on neck and sleeves, one pin spot that I can find and a bit of fraying on the pink bows...if anyone might know more about this let me know. This is just as I found it..I have another one up also for bid
