I lived in Grand Junction and really loved the country around there.If you new where to go there are some very interesting old ruins and the like. The native population there are very talented and produce some of the coolest things around.

Is that far from aurora co.souds very nice. we have seen indian pow wows a few times. lots of fun.they make all hey clothes by hand that they dance in.good luck with this.

I think it is about 200 miles or so on the western slope.It is truly beautiful country there.If you get a chance you really should go there.Just the drive from where you are to there is breath taking.I envy you.I wish I could live back there.Enjoy and thaks
