The listing, 10+ Weeping Bottlebrush Tree Seeds! has ended.
Talk about a uniquely beautiful tree. My tree is over 20 years old, blooms regularly, attracts beautiful wildlife, and is certainly the focal point of any yard, with its weeping willow like elegance combined with huge beautiful bright red blooms. Should be noted that in each of the 10 seed pod there are HUNDREDS of seeds with the potential of having thousands of trees!!! This tree is one of a kind! Good luck and enjoy!
The “bottlebrush” belongs to the genus Callistemon, which means “beautiful stamens”. There is no doubt that it is a perfect description of the bright red flower spikes. This small tree is native to Australia and belongs to the Myrtle family which includes Eucalyptus, guava, Surinam-cherry, Rose-apple and Myrtle. Hummingbirds frequently visit their flowers. The weeping bottlebrush has become a very popular garden specimen in Florida, California and Hawaii. The lemon bottlebrush, with leaves that have a citrus scent when crushed, is also used extensively in Florida, more commonly in north Florida than in the southern part of in the State. The showy bottlebrush is more appreciated because of the longer flower spikes that can be up to six inches in length and have gold tips on the stamens.
