yes it works it is 2.5 inches i dont believe it was wiped we upgradded my wife to a new laptop and pulled this out of her old 1 it worked fine last time we used it i can send it in a electro static bag if the winner wishes

if that is a laptop that has a 2/12 inch ide hdd bay yes it will fit

INFO this is a 44 pin 2.5 inch laptop hard drive. if you are looking for a desktop hard drive this will not work. desktop hard drives are 3.5 inch 40 pin connection
