The listing, metallic gold lace scarf has ended.

This scarf was either my grandma's or my great grandma's I'm not sure which, I dont remember. Either way, it has been around QUITE a while. It has no tags, no markings, and I have no way to guess how old it is, and know nothing about it. I CAN tell you, it is not soft, its a little scratchy feeling. I looked and didn;t find any big pulls, runs, loose strings, etc. The bad news, it smells of perfume. I dont want to ruin it by washing it. So fair warning to anyone who is interested, There is a STRONG perfume smell to this scarf. Not a bad smell, just noticeable. Hope to find someone who can enjoy this!

Late 70's-Early 80's would be my guess. A little depressing knowing this and it being considered an "antique", lol. Pretty color. Could you measure the length and width please, Cherrie? Thanks!

I will get it measured tonight and post... I honestly just assumed it was older than that, I was born in 80 and my great grandma was only around a couple of years, and I'm thinking it was hers, the perfume smell reminds me a little of her house. But if it's not an antique sorry for posting in the wrong place! Thanks for the info, and the comment! :o)

Just guessing @ the age! I remember scarves like this then, but they could have been reproductions of vintage ones. Art Nouveau was very popular in the 70's. Perhaps this scarf is from the Jazz age.

It's 5 foot long by 20 inches wide... these are approximate, Im not great with a tape measure.... and the fabris is slightly stretchy... But I tried!

with it having no tags, i wonder if it is handmade....Hand dip it in some woolite should get that smell out....good luck
