The large 2.4 TFT LCD color display is for composing and reviewing your images on this bright display. The built-in flash can be used to light your subject or environment. Yes, the camera, A/V / download cable, install disk Scratchy, but works, I also i ncluded a copy of the install disk), and the User's Manual on CD in PDF format.

Nothing wrong, it works great. I got it for my daughter last year so she could make "Littlest Pet Shop" videos for YouTube. I got her a Sony HD Handi-Cam for Christmas, so this wasn't being used anymore.

How long do the batteries usually last. I have a camera that uses 3 aaa and it just sucks the life out of em. Of course it depends on the brand and using the flash....

She used rechargeable batteries, she would recharge them every couple of days, but I'm not sure how long she would have it on.

It doesn't record directly to DVD, however I would upload to my computer to edit and record to DVD

so is this a nicer camcorder to have or one of those cheap ones that doesnt have that great of a pic? This one has a huge screen on it, I really like that. My husbands bday is 4/5 if I win can you ship it too me so that I get it by then if I paypal u the shipping costs? He is begging for one to take hunting (we r competition hunters) he wants to record our dogs on the tree, think it will serve the purpose? Not looking for a real expensive camcorder, just one that will work on hunting trips. Nice auction! I will be bidding closer to the end.

It is one of the less expensive ones, however it has great recording capabilities.
