yes it is a 8800gt. these cards are not good for small or mid towers, the 8800gt needs the ventilation of a gaming/high performance full size tower. i would also recommend either a fan mod on the existing heat sink or find a aftermarket heat sink/fan as these cards are known for over heating and desoldering the GPU from the board under the stress of today's games. this is speaking from first hand experience with my 8800gt.

dont get me wrong, this a good gaming card for its age but it has a design flaw in the heat sink. even though i upgraded my 8800 to a newer card i kept my 8800 for backup.
