FREE: 10k ring

I got this at an estate auction. They sold everything in the house. I dont know anything about the ring. We payed 50 dollars for it however. It may be a real ruby I can tell its not plastic or glass but I DONT KNOW FOR SHURE. I would have taken a picture of the 10k marking but it was too small. Idk if its plated or pure. That is not the original box as this ring is deffinetly over 30 years old. Never been appraised. It coild be real or not but it is 10k.
