Mother Nature supplied the materials & a talented Craftsman used what she provided to make these lovely earrings.

They are very old & look so. Not that there is any damage, just because you can "feel" an earlier era as soon as you see them in person. They possess the unmistakable vibration of an Antiquity & your mind starts making associations to events, Clothing styles, fine porcelain, Tai Chi, Geisha, Silk, & Mah Jong Tiles. All these thoughts in a whirl of Nostalgia!!
But~~~ I digress~~~~

As you can see, the two earrings are not Identical. As no two shells in the Sea, are Identical. The dangle Stones "GLOW",with a wonderful, warm, opalescence, that comes from within the shell. These Stones measure 7/8" x 1/2"
.
The small, circular, top Stones are quite Petite @ just a bit less than 1/8" & even being so small, they have a Rainbow of colors & shine.

The hardware is Brass with a nice Patina of age, with no corrosion or greening. They work as intended to clip to the ear & Japan is hallmarked on the back of both.

Total length is 1.5"
