The listing, OLD VIOLIN PATTERNS (Antonio Strativari Model) has ended.
WOODWORKERS/FIDDLE MAKERS. Up for auction are my collectors patterns for a violin taken from an original "Antonio Strativari" violin of 1720 AD. These patterns are full size patterns and were given to me by one of the famous "Fiddle Makers" Albert Hash of White Top, VA. We were very close friends when I lived in Independance, VA. I spent many hours with Albert in his basement workshop before his passing in 1983. What an experience. He taught me the art of "FIDDLE MAKING" and presented me the the patterns now up for auction. It took me over three months to make my daughter's violin. The hardest part was making the neck with wood gouges. Now, at 70 I'd like to pass the patterns to another aspiring "Fiddle Maker." Patterns will be shipped in the mailing tube that was given to me by Albert. Questions? Google "Albert Hash" first, then ask me. This auction is worth every credit of the GIN.
